Where to install the terminal?

The terminal must be installed indoors, away from heat sources and strong jets of air. Do not install the device in direct sunlight, be careful especially in the case of large windows, shop windows. Also take care to avoid sources of artificial light in the immediate vicinity of the sensor.

Can I install the terminal behind a glass or other protective device?

No, there must be no element between the user and the device. Otherwise the terminal may not work and / or the results may be distorted.

Is the device usable immediately after turning it on?

It is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes before using it and compare the first reading with a calibrated thermometer.

If the user enters a very hot/cold environment or has carried out physical activity before the detection?

Wait a few mimutes before standing in front of the device.

How do you set the temperature alarm value and its calibration?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the SYSTEM submenu by pressing on the following icon
From the GENERAL submenu, scroll through the list and search for:

Temperature value alarm
Set the desired alarm value

Temperature calibration value
1=0,1°

Temperature calibration
Plus = increase
Less = decreases

EXAMPLE: If the Temperature Calibration Value set is 1 and "Plus" has been selected in Temperature Calibration, the final result will be increased by 0,1°.

Temperature accuracy class
Low = faster but less accurate reading
Average = average accuracy and speed
High = slower but more accurate reading

How do i set up mask recognition?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the SYSTEM submenu by pressing on the following icon
From the GENERAL submenu, scroll through the list and search for:

Mask detection
Set the value to YES to request the temperature measurement only if the protective mask is also present.

How do i set the time in the time zone?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the SYSTEM submenu by pressing on the following icon
From the GENERAL submenu, scroll through the list and search for:

Time
Set the year, month and day
Set the hour, minutes and seconds
When finished, press OK

Press on Time zone to choose the time zone (e.g. for Italy GMT+1)

How do i set the administrator password?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the USER submenu by pressing on the following icon

Press on the item Register User and set the following values:
ID: 1
Name: choose a name (eg Admin)

Click on Register User
Press on the icon and set a password

Press OK and Exit twice

In the User List submenu, press on the user just created and under the Admin choose: ADMIN

How do you delete a user/administrator?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the USER submenu by pressing on the following icon
Press on the User List item, select the user you want to delete and press the Delete button.

How do you connect the terminal to the server?

Press on the icon to enter the menu.
Enter the NETWORK submenu by pressing on the following icon
From the Network submenu set the following values:
Mode: Internet

From the Server submenu set the following values:
Response time: 3 sec (you can increase the time if you don't need to have a real-time alert)
Server: enter the IP address where the program will be installed
Server Port: 8080 (or port that is set on the program)
SN: put a number that will be the "device name" displayed on the program
Press Exit

To also send the photo*
Enter the PLANNING submenu by pressing on the following icon
From the Save submenu set the following values:
Save photo: YES
* the device will record all the photos

Alarm connection diagram

The two normally open contacts (ALARM- and ALARM+) are activated when an anomaly is detected in the temperature reading (temperature out of standard).

Relay connection diagram

The available contacts are NC, COM or NO and are activated if the temperature is normal.
