Mictom CountStar M is the world's fastest universal card counting machine, fully Industry 4.0 compliant. Using innovative contactless optical technology, it counts 500 cards in just 1 second directly inside their box, even through shrink wrap. It easily handles horizontal ID1 cards made of plastic or cardboard, from 0.4 to 5 mm thick.

The counting revolution: fast, universal, contactless
The Mictom CountStar M counter represents a generational leap in professional counting instruments. Built with a robust design to guarantee releiable long-term performance in harsh production environments, this machine completely eliminates the time-consuming processes of manually loading and unloading cards. Thanks to a high-resolution USB 3.0 camera (or linear scan camera) and state-of-the-art digital image analysis software, the CountStar M analyzes and counts cards while they are still inside thei original box, automatically compensating for different box bottom heights.
The system is managed by a fanless industrial PC (WIN 10 IoT) and is equipped with a large 22-inch touch screen. Its universal nature allows it to read not only all plastic omposites (ABS, PVC, PC, PET) but also cardboard, as well as complex cards such as transparent, translucent or embossed types.
