Embossing and engraving
The punching and engraving techniques allow to satisfy the safest personalization needs, usually used on credit cards. They allow the writing of data in relief with respect to the surface of the paper, in the case of punching (embossing), or the data is imprinted inside the card, in the case of engraving (indent).
The raised characters are colored through a tipper module while the characters engraved through an infill module; in both cases, the modules are housed inside the punching machine and both have the possibility of using ribbons of different colors.
In addition to offering high security standards, these cards give a more elegant and relevant visual aspect to the card, which thus acquires a prestigious and unique image.
This particular type of personalization is widely used in the personalization of payment cards.
